Vintage pair of Chinese wooden war horses. Complete with original polychrome paint this pair of vintage horses are sculpted after the Tang Dynasty (618-907) war horses that are popular in Chinese households. Beautifully detailed these war horses have definitely some good age to them but it is not possible to date them accurately although they most likely date to the early 20th century.

MEASUREMENTS

Each horse measures 17.75“ long by 4.5“ wide by 17.75" tall.
The two horses weigh 9lb 9oz.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear and tear to the paint commensurate with age , one of the tails has been repaired- very sturdy strong and well made (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
