Antique Australian Prohibition Mothers Day pin back celluloid badge. Dating to the late 1910's or early 1920's this vintage button badge was issued by the New South Wales Youth Program to celebrate mothers. Part of their goal was to promote temperance within the home by honoring the mother and appealing to youth groups to abstain from alcohol which generated healthy homes.

CONDITION

In nice condition considering age and use, there are some hairline cracks in the celluloid front of the button and some rusting to the metal back - please see all pictures as they form part of the description.
