1930s Stoneware Art Deco Ceramic Porcelain Match Holder
Vintage Art Deco European ceramic match holder and striker. Partially glazed smoothly around the edges this hexagonal earthenware holder and striker can accommodate the match for striking on all six ridged sides as well as the central stem. This most likely dates from the early 1930's on the continent with decoration that resembles the "Bizarre" collection popular at the time. It was part of a large collection purchased from a match strike and inkwell collector recently.
