Antique 1671 Leather Bound Resuscitatio RESUSCITATIO or, bringing into pvblick light several pieces of the works Civil, historical, philosophical, and theological hitherto sleeping of the right honorable Francis Bacon. This third edition was printed for Merrill Lee shop at the sign of the Turks head in Fleet street, London in 1671, the first version that compiled the two works into 1 volume.
Marked: The Third edition, according to the beft corrected copies, together with his lordships life.
There is a stunning frontispiece portrait of Bacon.
This would make a great unique one of a kind birthday gift, wedding gift or addition to any 17th century library.

MEASUREMENTS
Book measures 12" long by 8" wide by 2" deep and weighs 4lb 1oz.
CONDITION
In good condition considering age and use. There is some foxing throughout and what appears to be mold along the outside pages of the book. Spine is still holding pages tight. There is a 1" tear at the top of the first blank inner page (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description)
