Antique Advertising Bryant & May Match Holder
Vintage carlton ware advertising stoneware match holder and striker. Advertising "Club Matches" manufactured by Bryant & May this Edwardian match holder/striker was a popular item in cafe and bars in the early 20th century. Originally filled with Bryant & May matches this was a promotional display piece given out free to cafes and bars which sold this band of matches to its customers. The mark dates this piece to between 1906 - 1927
It was part of a collection purchased from the Jackie Collins estate in Los Angeles.

Match Holder measures 4“ diameter by 3" tall and weighs 1lb 14oz.
CONDITION
This match holder is in good condition. There are some scuffs and some staining on the outside of the match holder. There is a chip out of the edge of the base (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
