Antique Art Nouveau Ansonia mantel carriage clock. Decorative art nouveau brass work surrounds this glass sided carriage clock. The cut glass sides expose the skeletal working mechanisms of this antique clock. Manufactured by the Ansonia clock company of New York at the turn of the last century this beautiful and accurate timepiece is complete with its original mercury pendulum and original Ansonia key. The key winds both the clock and the chime mechanisms.

Clock measures 15" tall by 7.25" wide by 6.5" deep and weighs 13lb 2oz.

CONDITION

This clock is in good condition considering age and use. it is functioning and keeps good time continually. There is a repair to the top right of the enamel face and some of the gilt has worn off over the years (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
