Antique French Seltzer Bottle Double Gourd Veritable Seltzogene D Fevre 19th Century
DESCRIPTION
Antique French seltzer bottle "Veritable Seltzogene" made by D Fevre around the late 19th Century. A heavy French soda syphon of double gourd form surmounted by a pewter cap and tap and applied with a metal wire mesh net to the body, stamped 'Marque Deposee, Veritable Seltzogene D. Fevre, Paris'. It is also marked in script with the name D Fevre and the number 5 on the collar. This bottle dates from between 1880 and 1920.
A perfect addition to your eclectic home decor or a fabulous gift idea. This would make a great decorative item for any antique bar ware display.
