Antique Georgian British 1754 Sterling Silver Cream Jug
Antique British Georgian sterling silver milk creamer jug. Made during the reign of George II in 1754 this highly stylized bulbous pear shaped creamer jug sits on three hoof footed pads and is decorated in repousse with floral motifs throughout. The front underneath the spout has a blank cartouche which could be monogrammed by the new owner.
Marked under base: Lion passant(denotes sterling silver), indistinct makers marks, Leopards head (London city mark) and t (year mark for 1754)
This would make a great addition to your rare antique silver or Georgian collection.

Creamer measures 3.75" tall by 3" wide by 3.25" deep and weighs 2.6oz.
