Antique Native American Moccasins
Antique Native American beaded moccasins. Made from deer leather hide these natural colored hide moccasins are decorated with flowers on the tongue which also has a secret pouch on each one. The high sides intimate that these were made by one of the woodland tribes which protected the ankles from insects and briars. These are thought to date from the early 20th century with the use of flannel type material for the high sides, black material band on the ankle and the high luster on the beads.
