Antique Native American Moccasins ~ Cheyenne Crow Sioux
Antique Native American leather hide beaded moccasins. Dating to the late 19th century these plains Indian moccasins were produced for use rather than trade. They are beautifully decorated with turquoise, red, white and black beads on deer skin uppers with hard buffalo soles. they have high sides and retain their original hide fasteners. The beadwork in the middle is typical of the northern plains Indians such as the Sioux, Cheyenne or Crow.
Provenance: Private Collection, Los Angeles, CA.

Moccasins measures 10" long by 4" wide and weigh 5.6oz.
CONDITION
This moccasins are in nice condition. There is the usual signs of wear commensurate with age. The left moccasin has a small patch of black beads omitted from its bottom section (please see all photographs as they form part of the listing description).
