Antique Osborne Meat Juice Press, Victorian Cast Iron Patent March 1884
Antique Victorian Osborne meat juice press. Vintage cast iron kitchen utensil used in the preparation of small game and foul. The meat was placed in the pan and pressed until all the juice came out which was then re poured over the meat just prior to serving which ensure the flavor stayed fresh and the meat moist after cooking. The model had a patent date of March 1884.
