Antique Primitive Wooden Mop Wringer
Antique wooden kitchen mop wringer. Primitive home decor mop squeezer made from hard woods was placed over the side of a pail and used accordingly. This domestic collectable still has a strong spring and ability to squeeze the water from any mop.
This appears to predate the earliest patent mop wringers of the early 20th century as it is constructed almost entirely of wood. By the beginning of the 20th century iron frames were being employed with wooden paddles. There are no makers marks or patents anywhere on this early domestic appliance.
A great addition to primitive home decor collection. This would make a great unique gift for a birthday or house warming gift.
