DESCRIPTION

Antique safe Computing Cheese cutter dating to around the 1900's/10's. Designed to be used in cheese shops and deli's this industrial cutter was revolutionary in that it measured the amount of cheese in a round that was computed by rotating the handle. This style of cheese cutter was patented in 1905 by Frank Dunn with the original assignee of the patent being the computing cheese cutter co. This cutter still retains almost all of its original pin striping and stenciling. This would make a great aesthetic and practical addition to any cheese and wine store.
