Antique Victorian sterling framed matchbox holder. Victorian monogrammed marked sterling matchbox case holder sitting on four bun feet. This vintage item retains its original wooden box which slides open on either end to reveal the matches. This would be ideal for storing toothpicks or matches on a table. Made in the USA by an unidentified maker whose initial appears to be H, the serial number of design number appears to be no.1512.
