Antique Wollensak F8 Orthographic 4x5 Conley Safety Camera Lens
Antique Wollensak optical company camera lens made for a Conley Safety camera. The shutter and lens date to around the beginning of 1900. The face appears to be copper plated with the overlay plaques being applied in blackened brass by Conley. This originally fired onto a 4 x 5 format camera.
Marked on front: TB 1/100 1/50 1/25 1/5 1/2 1, Conley Safety, PAT July 23 1901, Wollensak Opt Co, various numbers at bottom

This lens came from the private collection of a vintage / antique camera collector in Los Angeles.
This would make a great decorative addition to any eclectic home decor or as an addition to your vintage camera collection.
MEASUREMENTS
Lens measures 2.5" diameter by 1.25" tall and weighs 5oz.
CONDITION
In nice condition with small signs of wear and tear commensurate with age and use. The lens is clean and clear and the shutter fires with a little slow release on some of the settings (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
