Vintage bronze commemorative medal. Made for the Memorial Hospital of Glendale by the Medallic Art company of New York from bronze. This commissioned piece was to celebrate the name change that occurred in 1957 from the Physicians and Surgeons hospital. This was most likely a presentation piece to either the doctors /medical staff or the patrons who enabled this extension and name change to occur. It is a screw back medal as a pin could not support the weight of bronze.

CONDITION

Hospital medal is in good unused condition with very little signs of use commensurate with age (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
