Antique German oil on canvas landscape. Original mountain scene depicting a goat farmer herding his animals on a road near a large farmhouse with a full mountain background. Painted and signed by I Keiser this painting dates to around 1900. There is quite a lot going on in this painting and shows some skill in its execution.

Painting measures 23.75" long by 16.75" tall and weighs 2lb 2oz.

CONDITION

In nice condition with small signs of wear and tear on the frame commensurate with age and use. There has been a repair just above the treat a large tear but it has been restored expertly and relined, this can only be seen when the painting is tilted at an angle (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
