Vintage 1970s Cast Iron Boston Terrier Door Stop
Vintage cast iron French bulldog dog door stop. Still retaining most of its original paint this cast iron door stop dog was made around the 1970's. This heavy painted dog is well cast in alert position. This is believed to be a remake of the Hubley terrier dogs of the 1920's and a very well cast later version with great definition and colors throughout. He is held together with philips head screws which denotes a remake model.
This cast iron Hubley style dog door stop would make a great addition to any cast iron, early industrial Americana collection or canine collection. This would also suit as a decorative paperweight.
