DESCRIPTION

Vintage Greek Orthodox religious icon. The image of the heads of our lady and the child Jesus is painted on to a wooden panel which is then framed over in 950 sterling silver. This painted icon is an exact copy of surviving Byzantine art in situ at Greek and Turkish churches.
