Vintage WW1 U S Cavalry brass bugle. Manufactured by J W York & Sons this standard military brass cavalry bugle was issued in 1918 and comes complete with its original A1 tru mouthpiece. A great nostalgic collectable from a renowned specialist American instrument maker.

MEASUREMENTS

Vintage bugle measures 9.25" long by 3.6" horn diameter by 3.75" tall and weighs 12.8oz.

CONDITION

In good working condition with heavy signs of use commensurate with age. The brass is heavily dented in several places which is expected of an item that was used daily in a military situation which enhances the charm of this rare piece. Some of the original strap is still there but has been torn over time (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description). This item is sold as a display item as I cannot testify to its accuracy as a bugle but it works when blown.
