Antique Holland Mfg Co bobbin silk winder. Thee Holland Silk company was one of several silk manufacturers established in Willamantic , Ct in the 1860's. Willamantic was known as thread city due to the large volume of cloth and silk thread manufactured there in the 19th and early 20th century. This is a very rare sewing accessory of museum standard dating to the 19th century, pre 1893. Complete with is original gold pin striping this early industrial piece of equipment is a must have for the sewing enthusiast.

This would make a great addition to any Victorian sewing collection or home decor. A great gift for a birthday or Christmas.
