Antique tri fold vanity mirror. Original Edwardian tri fold vanity mirror which stands alone on a vanity or hangs on the wall from a suspension chain. Decorated on the front closed position with a Georgian figure of a lady wearing a wry smile as portrayed by Charles Allan Gilbert. The 1907 date fits with the style of this mirror. Complete with beveled glass in all three sides of the mirror this is ready for immediate use.

Charles Allan Gilbert (September 3, 1873 – April 20, 1929), better known as C. Allan Gilbert, was a prominent American illustrator. He is especially remembered for a widely published drawing (a memento mori or vanitas) titled All Is Vanity.
