Louis Neillot Signed Print ~ "Paysage D'Allier"
Vintage original 1960s print by Louis Neillot (1898-1973). Titled " Paysage D'Allier" this is number 54 of a small edition of 200. It retains its original blind stamp which helps verify its authenticity. Neillot was considered the last representative of fauvism. Signed by Neillot in pencil in the lower right this is Neillots typical style and subject matter of explosive bright foliage and floral compositions throughout his landscapes. Not surprising for an artist that lived in a place called Flower city. One of this series resides in the museum of modern art of the city of Paris.
