Original 1960's Sherle Wood Pastel Portrait Drawing
Original pastel art portrait by renowned 1960's drawing artist Sherle Wood. This beautifully executed portrait of a young Asian lady in traditional kimono complete with fan in hand and hair tied up is reminiscent of a Japanese Geisha. More famously known for her images of children with big eyes (mostly in costume), original Sherle Wood art is very desirable and difficult to obtain. This piece has been removed from its frame in order to verify that it is an original pastel.
Please note that this piece is sold out of the frame due to the glass on both sides being very heavy and to prevent it from smudging. This will help reduce postage costs and ensure no damage will occur during shipping.
Signed Sherle
These would make a great housewarming gift, birthday gift or wedding present.
